Dont get me wrong here,it was a good track,but it was just hyped far to much and it wasnt exactly one of my 2001 all time faves. |

Point here: tracks are dissapointing when they're hyped up so much and then they don't live up to the hype but lemme ask you...how many tracks really do? Hardly any although some follow the hype more closely than others.
ATB - Hold You isn't much of a dissapointment to me anyway because who though ATB would release a real quality track anyway? Its OK but far from anything amazing.
I was dissapointed this year overall because a lot of the trance artists and DJs got more into progressive. I like progressive but love uplifting so much more. Last year had many great uplifting releases and this year had almost all progressive stuff...that dissapointed me. |

| im glad someone said flesh i never got why everyone was so hyped up about it it caught me for a little while it was good but not as good as everyone claims! |

vaiio - rapture (any mix)
well i wouldn't consider this a disappointing track, since i've never about vaiio in the past before, but i do think its overhyped. i've heard this many times open minded but i still cannot see what's so great about this tune. in fact, i feel flesh was a much better track than this. different strokes for different folks i guess.
dumonde vs lange - memory
tta recommended me this track. i gave it a listen for the first time and thought the buildup was real good. unfortunately after a while the track just lost its magic and believe me i got bored of it before the 5th time i listened to it. after looking back upon dumonde's productions this year, i feel dumonde is somewhat an overrated producer/remixer.
rank 1 - such is life
not even close to many miles too soon. |

Yeah really, I didn't even know people were waiting for this to release LoL. Although I do think ATB released one quality track this year and that would be "Let You Go", Wippenburg Remix of course ;)
As for Dumonde vs. Lange- Memory, easily one of my 10 ten songs for the year. I totally love that song!
One disappointment for me was Photon Project's "The Inside" it was no where as good as their previous productions. |

| hmm different strokes for different folks. i thot flesh was amazing when i heard it a year ago, now its everywhere and just not a cool as it once was. i think i deleted dumonde vs. lange - memory as soon as i got it. not sure why, i think it was cheesy or something...as for rapture ive been out of the scene for awhile so i neva got hype from any of these tunes, i thot it was kewl. i tend to like vocal stuff tho. some people dont...my cousin hates and trance unless it sounds like oakenfold or atb...and he doesnt even like all oakenfold stuff, cause he says it doesnt sound like oakie. some people just know what they like and know what they hate, no matter how bizarre. for some reason it seems that almost everything thats labeled 'amazing' in the direct downloads section is utter trash...swamper keeps giving the trancey love thru his quality picks tho! late/ |

"Enlightenment" blew me off last year.....Illumination was an above average production....but "The Inside" really seems afar from last year's productions....hope that they can do better the next time..

I would agree a bit with souv de chine,not as good as folks where maikn it out to be.
