That kickdrum of yours is really nasty. I think you've actually phased the kick, because it's destroying the soundpicture at some points. Hmm... after listening to this for a while, I think you're very talented, and therefore I can't understand how you managed to get that ugly kickdrum in the beginning. It sounds like you've used two different kicks, and panned them to separate sides. IIIIKK! :nervous: I recon some really cool twists and stuff in this one. I think this remix is far to dark/hard for such an uplifting melody. But I like the fact that you've chosen to bring the melody in so early in the tune. But that guitar after 02.30 is not good. And as the music comes to join the melody, you don't change the bass together with the melody. You HAVE to do that :eyes: Are you totally retarded?! You can't play the melody without having the bass cooporating the it. Heh... Sorry for the language, but this really shocked me. Because I thought yoo knew this. |

Yeah the kick is awfull, it seems as if it was recorded live. U are indeed very talented.
I am actually not sure but I think the tune hasnt got a baseline, I think that base bit belongs to the kick reverb. The guitar is awfull. change what he said and u will have an amazing tune. |

Thank YOu!! :D Yes the Kick got this Effect bcoz of the Reverb and Compression ...Ohh yes it got a Bassline too ... :thepirate

Hey
YOu obviously have some skills - but i agree with everything above. The bassline must follow the lead synth - if it doesnt it ruins the effect of the song. NIce synths, lose the guitar and make the beat a bit more prominent and less reverbed.

i think the lead synth in the breakdown when it comes in is too computery sounding...
thats it really apart from what pthers have said...
its still a good track though... |

Pretty decent effort but the original should NEVER be touched. It's a genre defining tune that, imo, can never be improved. Although, I gotta say, you're talented enough to produce some quality variations that i've never heard before in a follow me remix. Very dark and pretty deep. Not bad. I'll be looking out for more of you're work in future Alex. :)
