Argghh something hates me...

Ok its like this, i was spinning this evening, and i made a cool set. And i recorded it thru a cable from my BOOTH exit in the mixer to the LINE IN from my MD player. easy.

The problem now is, im listening to it on my MD player, and normally, you would have to hear both records on both earplugs right? Well, every record played on my right turntable is only hearable in my right earplug and a LITTLE bit on the left. And i can hear every record played on my left turntable in both earplugs like it SHOULD be normally.:stongue:
only the last track i played on the right turntable is suddenly hearable in BOTH earplugs...

The crossfader was in the middle, the balance knob was as it should be, i dont get this. I was hearing the sound fine over my PA system, it wasnt unbalanced there!!!!

anyone have any idea whats wrong?... this hasnt happened to me before!

strange. did you notice any diffference as you were playing or was it definitely coming through both channels?

it could well have been something causing a bad connection from your booth output, like some in the contact, or a dodgy wire.

record something again using your booth output, but clean all the contacts and swap the wire for another one. if it still does it, try recording form the master output of the mixer to make sure its not the input on the MD.
