couldnt sleep till 7 this morning, because as soon as i came off here i went to bed and laid down (as you do) and my heart started beating real fast and shít and i was thinking real fst like all these images flashing in and out, but one thing stuck, which was an image of a pen writing on paper really really fast and was the only thing constant, i was real scared.
i went and sat on the toilet for 5 minutes to grab hold of myself and calmed down. went back to bed, and as soon as my head hit the pillow it all started again which was scary.
i managed to stop it by propping my head upright against the wall and sleeping at an angle where the left side of my body wasnt touching the beat s the vibrations of my heart wouldnt be against the bed.

Not at all mate.Nobody should keep quiet about things like this, especially when it is related to your heart. My advice is go and see your gp and put your mind at rest.Sometimes i just think im imagining it when it happens,so when the doc told me there was no irregularities there, that alone made me feel fine again!

Lose the drugs if you're taking any at all.

ohh sounds like a serious problem
The next time something like this happens to you just smoke some weed and chill out.
:D

dude..that dont sound like fun @ all. Get that checked out by a Dr. If it is cuz of drugs, the Doc cant do anything, cuz of patient-doctor confidentiality. so dont worry about that, just go get better!

I don't think drugs are the cause. They won't make it better, but you can experience this also without doing drugs. Most of the time it has something to do with stress, even when you think you don't have stress.

Try to live as balanced for a while as possible: 7/8 hours sleep, go to bed on the same time every night. DOn't drink, coffee, tea, coke or energizers. Eat healthy, and try to avoid stress. GO for a long walk every now and then, or do other sports. When you put your body to work, your mind will get some rest.

TRy this just for a week or two, and you'll notice the difference.
(I've had the same thing: my heart pounding in my throat, short of breath... can be very frightening, especially when your mind rages on on full speed)
Good luck!
