indeed. whens the last time you were up here then ?;)
out of the main clubbing cities, sheffields got to be the most miserable. im sure theres a nice bit somewhere, but of what ive seen its just soo bleak!! dont get me wrong, had some crackin nights there but it could do with a makeover. it could just be the comedowns mind.:( |

| theres pleanty of free partys happening in sheffield. you dont need big names to have a quality night |

sorry but where abouts in sheffield did you go? the city centre isn't what i would call miserable. some of the areas outside the centre are dog but you get that with every city. in fact, sheffield city centre is getting quite posh and arty-farty dont you know.... |

precisely. sheffield is
a) quite a wealthy city
b) the safest city in britain according to the police
c) not wank (have you ever been to birmingham ffs)
As regards to clubbing Urban Gorilla is one of the best clubs in the North atm. Liverpool currently has the clubbing crown but Ahead and UG put up a respectable opposition. |

yeh the city centre is pretty gash, its being rebuilt atm, and theyve bulldozed down those vile tower blocks on the hills. |

i agree big name djs r very over rated unknown up and coming djs tend to put far more effort into there sets and r more enjoyable to watch. |

well thats half the battle then. those tower blocks looked like some sort of jail block. ive not seen a great deal of the city..from the train station to crasher and a bit of the city centre when we went for a wander once..and from the train station to ahead..which was a good 5-10 min drive..and it didnt get any better. on first impressions its like the city tim burton created. closely follwed by birmingham |
