Canadians are such whiners

Somebody came into the store today and actually complained about this:

She said she lives upstairs and that moving the tables and chairs "interrupts her ability to watch tv".

Now this would have been funny in the past however sadly these days these people actually get listened to. She should be glad i wasnt there because i would have told her more than just "take it up with the landlord."

And to think, i live above a noisey pub and wouldnt even dream of complaining. After all, they were there before i was.

A message to the general Canadian public: The whole world does NOT revolve around your every petty desire both real or imagined..... GROW UP!

I love how you always complain about whiners when you whine the most out of anyone on this board.

"interupts her ability to watch TV": That's pretty funny though. :stongue:

Actually complaining about that law is actually complaining about those who complained to get that law in place.

You see the trend? I complain about complainers... its ironic i know.

You hate our government, you hate our people - remind me why you live here again?

why the need to use "Canadians" in the thread title ? it's not as if this can't happen anywhere else in the world .. the endless need to label everything

because people used to be different. I think the slide began 20 years ago but we are just reaping what we sewed now.

Sadly we have become victims of our own greed and selfishness. When neighbours dont know how to be neighbours. Life used to be all about give and take. Now its all about me me me. It bothers ME so i dont care what you think. Thats the premise behind all the laws i protest and its the same premise behind this woman's complaint. My arguement is that if you dont like what others are doing in the designated areas then dont go there, live there, or eat there.

Im very tolerent of others. Im just very intolerent of intolerence. As for politics, thats a whole other story. Its everyone's god given right to complain about the Lieberals ;)

This type of unneighbourly "me" thinking is an epidemic in North America. I dont think someone in Europe would ever complain about this .

Example: Greece, when i was there the church bells rang every morning at 7 am right in the middle of the city. They were louder than anything ive ever heard. I dont see greeks complaining about church bells.
