holy crap I've been kinda outta it, been hella busy with school and all, and i just checked the release date for MGS3 and it's 11/17, just one week away!!!11one
next week I have 3 midterms and an essay due so gettin to play MGS3 after all that will be a great reward :tongue2
imma go pre-order this real soon
who else is gettin this? |

Dude, I loved Sons of Liberty so much I couldn't stop playing it.
Then came Substance. Even more kickass.
This new game, SnakeEater is gonna be SICK. :eyes: :eek:

and why is it obvious he hasn't played the first MGS?
MGS2 improved in areas of MGS that were not that strong but MGS was still an excellent game, I won't forget the first time playing MGS, it was amazing |

For me MGS:SOL is just a cheezy ripoff of the first one. Just compare the storyline ... anyways I hope to play with snake again and not some "girlyman" :haha: so I'm lookin forward to Snake eater |

i agree. i didn't much like raiden's character and it has nothing to do with being used to using solid snake as an operative. i really felt like his persona/character design did not fit in with the metal gear solid series. it just "felt" odd. |

DEAD wrong.
The original MGS was awesome, but the graphics were choppy.
MGS2SOL/Substance fixed everything that bugged me about MGS1.
Not to mention, I have the original one still...;) |

well blame kojima for trying something different, I didn't really mind Raiden, it gave the story a nice twist
i'll say i'll welcome back playing as snake tho, cuz we all kno snake owns raiden |

lol, you must've had real high standards for 1998 then, because those graphics were some of the best to date back then.
MGS2 was good; but the original was leagues ahead of it.
Can't wait to play as Big Boss in MGS3 though ;) |
