Steven Speilberg is directing the new version of War of the World which is gonna be set in modern day (staring Tom Cruise). Twould be kewl if they put some refeneces in from Jeff Waynes album. Maybe put an "ULLA" here or there.

yerrr this new movie has a bigger budget than the Titanic. --> $200 million plus. It's already started filming & will hit cinemas in the middle of next year :p :p :p
Spielberg is gonna make it a MASSIVE movie because he wants to outdo Lucas at the cinema. Spielberg has been pissed off at lucas ever since lucas refused to let him work on one of the starwars movies!!

I actually bought the old 1950s War of the Worlds on DVD. Damns it's old. The swan necked matian pods float above the ground & you can see the strings holding them up :haha: :haha: !!! Its soooo fake. For it's time it would have been the most technical film 3v3r made!!! The movie is teh POX now! LOL special effects age quickly!! I used to think the T1000 morfing trick was kewl, now its old/dated FX!
