Ok this was my second recording of this set, caus the first time the needle skipped on me, but I don't know if it's caus I listened to this one so much, but I am noticing a lot of little things that bother me, but I really don't wanna mix the same songs over again :-p, so I am really looking for input on this one.

Nice mix. Though there were a few slightly rough transitions (it sounds like you know which ones) still enjoyed listening to the mix. I can sympathize, it can be frusterating not getting feedback when you know people are downloading it :)

Thanks for the feedback, yes I have in fact gone through 4Gigs+ of Bandwidth now and yours is the first review.

And about the transitions, yes I am having problems with my pitch on my MK2's. Seem to be getting some wavering between +1 and -1. I did a mod someone posted in the DJ both to try and fix it, but I think I may have caused more problems than I solved :(

first transition was pretty good for beatmatching... but make sure yo keep the levels constant... you let the volume fade out too much so it just seems like a noticeable transition... watch ur UV meters. 2nd transition was off on the beatmatching.... heard some slight galloping.. 3rd mix had pretty good beatmatching but the phrasing was off... you didn't line up the phrases (unless u were purposely trying to do that). for some reason i heard beats getting dropped in around 25 minutes and something... then the mix into deepdish was not in phrase, and offbeat too. sounded like a fade in and out of the tracks sorta. the next mix into "ride" was pretty nice. only slightly offbeat but barely noticeable. next one into "tainted" sounded ok. next mix is kinda shaky too... the also witht he one into crayons.. sorta offbeat and quick.

overall.. this mix was decent. i tend to find that with progressive mixes, it needs to be very smooth and flowing with long drawn out mixes (i.e. sasha). it seemed like your timing was kinda off for a lot of the tracks. perhaps you should try mixing in and out and time for the perfect moment. it does take a lot of time and planning out, but it'll make the mix sound better in the end. try for some better beatmatching too.... hope any of my comments helped...

p.s. check out my mix comingup in about 30 minutes...

Thanks for the feedback, yes I've been having terrible problems lately with pitch wavering on my mk2's, so that leads to me having to try and correct alot mid mix which sometimes doesn't work too well, and explains the suddeness of some of the mixes.

I don't think any of them were out of phrase that I didn't mean them to be... I'll take another listen though to see if I hear what you are saying.

I will listen to your mix and post comments as well. :D
