| When going to the gym regularly you never see the overweight people there exercising in a daily or routinely manner nor even on the odd occasion twice in the one day. |

that.... would explain the overweightness wouldnt it :toothless
either the people there were fat and had the drive to lose it or the fat people just dont have the drive to try so they remain overweight thus you never see them there. they probably jsut start by doing some tae bo on slow motion in their living rooms. |

YEah ive actually noticed that as well...
however, i have noticed that people ... "with carriage" can be seen jogging or running at night. Perhaps to not draw as much attention to themselves as they would during the day.. |

| But is my observation because fat people don't exercise that often, or because if you did exercise that often you would no longer be fat? |

Very few fat people exercise at all; they are too embarassed and never come into the gym in the first place. Most people I know who exercise on a regular basis, including myself, have never been remotely over-weight. We mainly workout to tone our bodies and not really to lose. |

I see lots of wide loads when I go down to the park to exercise. Most are one timers, but I see some that are regulars who tend to just stay fat. What's up with that??

Maybe you just have a way of subconsciously fading out all the fat uggos from even being perceived? :stongue:
Not that I truly care, but we occasionally had overweight (like, really corpulent people) join Tae Kwon Do in order to get in shape a bit. Very few of them actually stuck it out though, in fact...none of them. I guess MOST people are just looking for a quick way out, and the martial arts aren't really a shortcut for that sort of thing. :o |

| Its because fat people think that 20 minutes of walking inside of a gym is going to get them the body of the people working out for 2 hours with ing weights. There is a reason the people on the cardio are fat and the people with weights arent. Lean Muscle Mass burns more calories than anything. Screw you cardio. |
