Join me tonight for Episode 23 of my weekly show ‘Euphoric Horizons’ on Rise FM. Following last week’s guest mix from Aled Mann, tonight’s show is co-hosted by a DJ and producer who has gained the respect of the industry by sheer hard work, dedicated promotion and a real ability to read a crowd, the UK’s St John.
Well known throughout the Midlands, John has built a solid reputation and a loyal following in his many years as a DJ. His previous residencies have included the worlds largest internet radio station BPM Radio based in Birmingham, promoting his own nights M.O.t!on in Nottingham and Rub!k in Derbyshire and travelling abroad to play both in Ibiza and Slovenia.
As well as a DJ, John is also well-known for his production skills having worked with John O’Callaghan on their latest tune ‘Mechanical Dreams’ and co-producing the mighty ‘Mindcircles’ with Locust aka Perry O’Neil which was signed to Armin’s A State Of Trance. John has also remixed for George Hales on DJ Precision’s label Somatic Sense and at present, John and I are working on a new collaboration together, so more details will be revealed as that takes shape. John is also resident for the hugely successful Hotdog events and has played all over the UK including Passion and currently promotes his own night Shushh! in the Midlands.
From 2000 to 2200 (GMT) John and I will be playing a two hour back to back set as a taste of what can be expected at this weekend’s Shushh! event at The Venue in Nottingham. Tonight’s show features exclusive unsigned tunes, as well as the best in brand new releases from artists such as J00F v`s MIKE, Activa featuring Aled Mann, Hemstock & Jennings, Mannix and Eterna.
