| Alright folks we need to have a community chat where people can go to and chat amongst the other TA's in NUMBERS. I have visited 13 channels with the channel name of #tranceaddict in the past month. All I see when I join those channels are maybe 12 people at most. Lets step it up a notch and make one official chat channel. We need to unify and not be all seperated in our own islands in other networks. |

go to http://www.tranceaddict.com/site_news.shtml and look in the top right corner: bingo ;)
12 sounds about right by the way...
if all else fails, there is always #ukta ;) |

the problem with the #ta channel was that in the end most of the ops were too busy or stopped coming in so it was unstructured mayhem, esp when a mod, lets call him A.B. for anonimitys sakes, flooded with 'omgggggggggg i dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' every broadcast
#ukta began with just uk ta's plus some friends from the old ta chat and has just grown into the most fun place for us all to hang out, every1 is welcome as long as they don't come in with an attitude or a superiority complex |

| Well it would be nice if there were do I dare say a massive ad campaign to gain idlers and chatters. Frankly with this many registered users here at TA we could do some serious chatting. Not to mention the fact that our numbers are so large that if we were ALL on a network we could probably turn some heads in the admin staff on said network. They might even want TA to become part of their organization and affiliate with them. So all in all it would benefit both the IRC network and TA. So lets see what swamper and the admins here can do. |

to be honest, affiliation with webchat would cause more problems than it is worth. that means we as a website have to be responsible for the content of the chatroom, and we all know what that can entail.
i am all for getting more people into #tranceaddict, but that would make me a hypocrite cos i never go in there :p but to be honest it is quite rare i go on IRC anyway. when i do, its #ukta as all my mates are in there ;) |
