Firefox Problem!

I downloaded the new version of Firefox the other day and installed it. Now, for some reason, I tried running the program again and it asked me to make a profile...now all my bookmarks are gone. Is there anyway I can get them back? :(

note to self: back up the bookmarks.
EDIT. how DO i back up the bookmarks? as in save the links in a folder on another hdd or something. IE is easy with their favorites folder.

It works again, I restarted and changed the profile:p
About saving your bookmarks, go to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks>File>Export :) |

Err oh.. it sometimes asks you to make a new profile when it can't read the old one. The best course of action here is to completely close all Firefox processes, wait, and run Firefox again.
Unless you manually corrupted your profile, then in that case you are extremely dumb.
But looks like Firefox couldn't read the old profile, so not your fault, and everything is happy now. :) |
