Hey there, Just started recording myself last week, I've been dj'ing for almost 2 years. 1st year it was more of a hobby, but the within the last year, I've really put time and effort into it. There are mistakes in the mix, but I figured might as well get out there and do this, it'll be a good experience. Here's a mix I made, and I'd love some feedback from anyone. Whether good or bad, doesn't matter. The recording is not so great, but mind you I just started using this software last week, so I'm still learning. Enjoy the set, and thanks in advance for your input.:haha:
Here's the tracklist:
1. Holden & Thompson Nothing (93 returning mix)
2. Infusion Girls Can Be Cruel (Infusion sQed mix)
3. New Order Blue Monday (Rogue Audio mix)
4. Sam Sharp Deep
5. Randy Katana In Silence (Txitxarro mix)
6. Age of Love Age of Love (Marco V remix)
7. Lotstep Burma (Sasha Remix)
8. Jas Van Houten Heavens Gate
9. Mojado El Toro
10. Marcel Woods Static State
11. Marcel Woods Time is Running Out (Original Mix)
12. Tiesto Traffic

Well, I listened through most of it. You could definately pollish up on your beatmatching and knowing when to bring the next track in. Your EQ'ing needs adjustment because some of the mixes I either had to turn down the speakers or turn it back up. Always try to maintain a constant level of sound throughout. And pace yourself with the mixes. Turn a 30 sec transition into a minute and a half. And most importantly you have to have structure in your set. It seemed to start fast, then slowed down a bit to New Order, then back to some harder trance after that, then onto a slow breakbeat track 'Burma.' The set loses flow when you go up and down that way. Now, all of us DJ's are different in our own respects and we all do things 'our' way, but allow this contructive criticism to help you out along the way. Thanks for the mix. Hope I was some help.

No not at all Steven, I really appreciate you taking the time to listen, and write me feedback. Any feedback is good feedback in my eyes. I totally know about the eq's... still trying to get that down, and esp. the volume levels.
As far as flow, your right... The set wasn't long enough for me to go fast, slow, fast slow... i should have been more consistent... Defintitely keep that in mind. But thanks again man, what you wrote was very much listened to...
