CD release party for "Rock Star" out 10/05/04 on Warlock/Moist Records
DJ Irene pulls no stops when it comes to pleasing her hardcore fanbase. This Cali-based hard-dance diva has had enormous success on the DJ circuit with her power-packed persona and energizing record selection. When it comes to CD sales, she beats most of the other "bigger name" DJ's out of the water, simply because her mixes are distinctively original and stay true to her "live" sound.

When looking up the dictionary definition of "UK rave scene" originals and drum'n'bass legends, both DJ SS and Grooverider have their pics on that page. Grooverider was the top-billed DJ on flyers of almost all the acid house parties of the late 80s, the hardcore breakbeat massives in the early 90s and the nascent jungle events that took over London in the mid to late 90s. DJ SS was right up there with them, armed with a massive catalog of vinyl on his Formation Records imprint, a label that has been steadily releasing vinyl every year since 1991 through the present day.
