I love his music to death, but he *is* a GD prima donna!!
I was supposed to catch him in Tokyo in august, but he cacelled at the last minute. The night wasnt a total loss, I hooked up with 2 french girls who had recently arrived in japan and were looking for fun (yes, my life is hard) and we ended up at some other club to see Carl Craig (solid dark, yooshi beats... reasonably good, but DAMMIT the japanese hare SOOO ing clueless about the music it isn't funny).
as a side note, finding anything in tokyo is a huge bitch... we needed 30 or 40 minutes to walk to find the place somewhere in Shinjuku, and that's considering we had a map, my japanese gf to read it (and she is rather good with maps and stuff, really!!) and that the place was actually a 5 minute walk from the Shinjuku train station *g* |
