do they have build-a-bear in new york? if not go to www.buildabear.com You can pretty much costumize a stuffed animal for anyone. I have a few that I have got in the past and they are a great gift :) |

i would think they'd have one in NYC, but if they don't, go to The Palisades mall in Nyack 'cause i know there's one there. |

I got my ex one of those bears, the ones that come with a box of chocolate hung around their neck...but the chocalate is always super cheap and nasty...so I opened the box and lined it with gold foil and put Godiva chocolates in there...then wrapped it shut with a new riboon. :D
Just makes it a little more personal. |

First of all...you have a girlfriend now? Geez...we really don't keep in touch do we? :p
Gift certificates work from family members. When you are in a relationship you should try to be a little more personal. 5-6 weeks is a short amount of time though so I can see your dilemma. |

lol no offense but coach bags are really played out. "oh look at my little purse with 'c' all over it, look everyone i have a coach bag, i have money".
all the ghetto girls down here have coach bags and dooney & bourke bags w/ the dumb letters all over them. even the signature brown leather luis vuitton one is ugly to me. if you want to buy her a quality purse that is in a different league, and isn't so showy, go with prada or kate spade.
and i must say that buying a girl a purse is very cool because most men aren't up to par with women's fashion and could give two s about "accessories" or even know what they are...my bf bought me a prada bag for xmas last year and i totally wasn't expecting that AT ALL. and it wasn't so much that it was "prada", i was just impressed that he would pick out a purse for me. it's just cute when guys buy their girlfriend girly things that usually only girls buy for themselves. |
