OJ was a rich celebrity type. Scott Peterson wasn't a celebrity until this trial started.
DO you think that his celebrity, even though it began because of something negative, will be enough to get him found Not Guilty? |

true he wasn't a celebrity until the trial started, but i was referring to circus like atmosphere that surounded both trials, how effective a well funded defense team can be, and that feeling that the jury is struggling with what would seem to be a slam dunk case. Who knows maybe Scott will get off so he has the opportunity to look for the "real" killer while he plays golf. :wtf: |

I think hes almost certainly guilty, but the prosecution did not provide any truly solid evidence. I think he will be found non-guilty (and deservedly so). The cops and prosecutors really rushed to get this case, and did not sufficiently search for, and thus, provide solid evidence. I dont like it but those are the rules.
However, dont be suprised to see a hung jury, with a possible mistrial. Either way, well have appeals for years. |

| It is nice to see that juries can make informed decisions. The slimebucket Peterson is done for, guilty of 1st degree murder and 2nd degree murder and the special circumstance was found to be true. So at least, he'll get 40 yrs to life and at best, which I sincerly hope happens...he will be put to death in California's lethal injection chamber at San Quintin. |
