I know this is kinda late but I've been busy trying to settle in my new home in BFE. No it's not that bad. I miss living in Ybor already. Anyway, onto my review. This was my 5th time seeing the flying dutchman and all I gotta say is Ferry kicks ASS!! I could not be more pleased by his set Fri night. The only thing I could gripe about was what took him so long to get on? That and maybe the crowd could be a little better. I shouldn't complain about that because there was actually room to dance and move unlike when Tiesto was here. It was a pleasure seeing Amber, Matt, and Colleen again. I think we arrived at the club the same time...again. Oh, and can someone tell me why SPACE is playing hip hop in the VIP room area? And the Terrace wasn't opened either which is one of the best features of that club. I hope it's not going to be that way for future events.
Does anyone know if Ferry's set was recorded or not? There was one song that stood out which I've never heard him play before. It contained a lot of female vocals and was one of the most melodic songs from his set. I think he played it somewhere towards the middle of his set or maybe somewhere before. Could someone help me ID this song? Perhaps a full tracklist of his set...that would be most excellent.
Can't wait til next month...TIESTO at AMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I could see PVD at SPACE :( :( I have to work on Turkey Day. Damn it!! Oh by way, did anyone notice there's a new cryogenic liquid nitrogen airblast system recently installed at AMP. It's BAD ASS!! The first time it was used was on Halloweeney night. Not as impressive as the one in SPACE but comparable. Now we have a miniature SPACE!!:) |

Hmmm...they've always had that. I would think it's been that way since the day that they opened their doors. They don't do it for as long as Space does at times, but they have always had one that hits both upstairs and downstairs. Maybe they've just kicked it up a notch. :conf: :p |

I have a feeling this will be the last time I hear MY SONG live, but no complaints. This was my third time and I'm really happy to have heard it. It just continues to kill me that MY SONG won't be released on vinyl. And yeah, everyone went nuts when it started. I looked at MellyMel when the song came on, and then my eyes LITERALLY did this -> :eyes:

Died quietly.
That was a first considering I go NUTS when I hear my song.

I already loved that track, but I hadn't listened to it recently because of so much other music to listen to. I intentionally listened to it yesterday again (as you already know). It's a great track. :D |
