i believe that would fall under the pc rule.
of course we can always have a battle between windows and linux in a pc box, but that's another thread, and we don't want to start that.

it's not blue screens anymore. it's now the "would you like to send this error message to microsoft online?" prompt now... that sucks..

That's the whole bloody reason why I docked my PClaptop for a G4...
MACs never have that problem or blue screens..
and traveling with a powerbook is ALSO soooo conveinient & light!
Then comes my iPOD at home,gym...or in the car....the clarity of the iSIGHT..
shall i go on? :toothless

How do you like them applez!:D

Mac OSx is UNIX-like
same shell commands
I don't know about the file structure though
wiregen
i owned a 17" powerbook G4 for 3 months then I sold the stupid thing.

I still have my 12" powerbook, but its just collecting dust. IMO PCs perform better espcially in music APPS. All the apps I use haave PC variants.

Imagine if Apple has the same userbase as PC, you would think there will be a group of virus freaks that will start hacking the OS?

Anyways to the comment above...well they are light for being in a aluminum body...this is lighter than my 12" :D

Mine is a 1.7 dothan
radeon 9700!!
DVD writer
80GB 5400RPM
1GB of ram
all costs about 2200....trust me if your handy you can do all these upgrades urself...this would cost you 3000+ at the sony website

OSX is all great...i tell everyone that is considering to try the OS to make sure they want to do it...I formyself went back to PCs

You just need to make sure and dont act stupid on the net clicking on the certificates, next thing u know u have gator on ur pc. haha
cozzmik

once you go mac you never go back;)
icyhandofcrap
I only like OSX for the UNIX underlying :P

(Cue stories of writing mischievious Perl scripts here)

Otherwise it is PCs for me.
