I don't like beating around the bush - I say how I feel without censoring anything. I don't do it because I want to be an ass, I just believe blunt and honest feedback is much more helpful than a spineless "OMG CHOON! Get it signed!".
Honesty just doesn't seem to get much credit around here...
In any case, since I'm bored:
AMD Athlon XP2800+, 1024MB DDR, TerraTec DMX 6Fire 24/96, Tannoy Reveal Active monitors, 2x Fujitsu Siemens TFT screens (15" & 17") running Win XP Pro.

However, when creating songs these days, I mostly use a Motif ES6 with 256MB RAM, three PLG150-AN plug-in cards and the mLAN expansion card to sequence in either Acid Pro 5 or Cubase SL. But, I like to use VST instruments for expanding my available sounds.

Can you even use half of your software with a computer like that? And it seems like all of that would easily take up 7 gigs. |

I'd say they're good in their price range. Of course there are a lot better monitors out there but they cost a lot more as well.
I didn't really look for any tech specs when getting them, in fact I didn't even know anything about them. I was going to get another monitors altogether but after I did some test listens on various systems I noticed that the Tannoys had more balanced sound than the other monitors in their price range. |
