I'm really enjoying the "Joyful Rebellion" album by K-OS.

This guy has serious talent and hopefully this CD gets him some more international notoriety. The variety of music and sounds on this album is just sick. Rap, old school hip-hop, reggae, guitars, jazzy sounds, etc. The lack of 'drugs, bitches and bling' in the lyrics seems rare these days too. I can't even name favourite tracks...the CD is good from start to finish.

Intelligent and fun hip-hop that focuses on talent over marketing.

big *thumbsup*

9/10 (only gets a 9 because I can't really dance to this stuff, lol)

+1 for K-OS...a hidden treasure...

for me its the usual Joshua Redman, Modeski Martin and Wood, Liquid Tension (an awesome jazz fusion band from Detroit) and some old school Wu-Tang (in memory of ODB who past away today :( )
