| Is there anyone here who's meditating from time to time? What are your techniques? |

Hey, EXODUZ! What's up?! :p :wtf:
I meditate by putting on some quiet trance (for ambience), turning out the lights (I only ever do it at night, really) then sitting on the ground, facing my window, crossing my legs and relaxing my shoulders and arms. I strive to have the best posture possible, but without focusing on it too hard - you might just turn that good posture into a distraction. The key physical aspects of TM (Transcendental Meditation) entail just relaxing your body and mind and having the greatest circulation possile for a static condition.
I don't really have a mantra, as I find it to be somewhat of a limitation for my mind - I rather just let my mind wander to whatever the purest thoughts that can come to me are. It's quite relaxing, and it's an amazing feeling to find lucidity within your meditation - to just look at yourself in your mind and realize that you have become both lost in your thoughts and in complete control of this lucidity. You feel when you pull yourseflf out that you have attained, even if just for a moment, complete synchronization of mind and body. 0 reflex time. There is not much in this world that can compare with it.
Will to power, and all that. |
