Weekend Reviwe- Markus Schulz in SD

WHOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!
Here is my review of this weekend.:eyes:
At 2pm I left work to head home and wait for Woody to come pick me up for the La Car-pool meet-up. ( My breaks are going bad :() Around 2:30ish ish. Heather calls me and tells me that Markus was held up in Huston and could not make it for the carpool down and was bummed about it. It was around 3:30 that Tk422 showed up and we where off to the Oc to pick up more TA's. They where running a little bit late so that gave us time to stop by woody's house and get the directions ( which I forgot) and to print out my ticket.
It was 5:30 when we picked up NrgTrance39 and Edwin. Then stoped by to pick up my Friends Erik and Kris. and then it was off to SD. WHOOO HOOOO! We got into SD around 7:00 ish and checked in too the Hotel.
:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: Man this Hotel was NICEEEEEEEEE!!! It had 2 bathrooms, a living room and a bedrom for with the 2 beds. There was plunty of room for everyone to Crash. Shoot I would have moved in. After we got there I got ready and Gameson showed up around 7:30ish too meet everyone. And at 7:45 Tk422,nrgtrance and Edwin went down to the Yardhouse to put our names in for a table. There where no reservations. But the Yardhouse would not put names on unless 11 out of the 14 people in the group showed up.:mad: So the 10 of us ( Dj-bas showed up right when we left for the Yardhouse) went down there. Note to self do not take directons from Bas. he will get you lost:haha: :haha: :haha:
We all get there at 8:30 and put our name in for a table of 13. We all went out side and took the Ta meetup picture and got seated at our table. While at the table it was hard not to look at the door every few seconds for Markus, Dave and Josh to show up. They didn't but the beer, drinks and food came quickly and we all had a nice meal :)
After dinner it was off to On Broadway to see G&D. [rant] Fvck On Broadway and their stupid ass Dress code. and Fvck them for holding me with my ID:mad: :mad:[/rant] I was in line first and my ID has been expored but I have not recived my new one in the mail yet. And the bouncers where questioning me hard core! After 5 minutes or so I was let in but was missing 4 TA's come to find out they could not be let in due to tee-shirts and shoes. WTF. So I went upstairs to talk to their manager. After all we came all the way from LA and I had no idea there was a dress code. He told me that they would not make any exceptions for the shoes. So I went to go see if I could talk to the club owner or manager about the situation. Well they where not around and and I yelled at the other guy I told him the clubs in LA are never this bad about Dress codes!:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: After that I started talking about the club!:haha: After all the majorty of the people are there to show off and have no idea who is spinning. and they are all stuck up. I was outside for a good 20mins when the head boncer told us we could go in. WHOOO HOOO for about 2 seconds. I was in but the Bas, Robert, Tk422, Edwin, and nrgtrance where out. :mad: Bas yes you need a new better fake id ASAP!
So they could not get in at all so I went downstairs to fins the other TA's. It was around 10:30 that I got a text from Dave saying that he missed since he slept but was on the way too the club. I asked the opeaning DJ what time they where going to be on and he said 11:30:mad: FVCK!!! We needed to be at L5 at 11:30 to get our tickets for Markus. So we stuck around for a bit so I could at least say hi to Josh and Dave. Then we left. As we where walking past the front door guess who I see out of the corner of my eye... Markus:eyes: :eyes: I stoped him and asked him what time he was going to be on and he said 1am. This is where I get stuck. Do I go back to the hotel to get the other TA's or go back in to On boradway. So back to the hotle we went. I wanted everyone to be together and we where not. I was a little sad since everything wasn't going as planed. I call Tk422 since no one was at the hotel but they where all at L5 so we jupmed in to a cab and went over there.
Bas was outside waiting since his ID was swiped and Robert was with him too. I told Bas that Markus would be on at 1am. He was hopeing he could get in with him.
So I went into the club and ran into more LA people I knew there:eyes: It was awsome that we where the only Markus groupies there. The vibe at L5 was a lot better then On broadway. Better people even the crazy people ( ie the guy with the lights:stongue: )
At around 1 I heard Bas got in with Markus! :eyes: WHOOOO HOOOOOOO!! we are all compleat. I snaped a pict of Bas in his glory! :)
When Markus came on it made my night/ weekend all the TA's where together now and Markus set was AMAZING! I was dancing and smileing all night. Woody made me a gropie sign that Said I *heart* markus and My Friend Kris make I *heart* Markus shirts. we held those up. and he liked them. There was this one guy though who would no STF up! we was telling me to go up and hold my sign right in front of markus and for me to go up there again to get a pict with him. I did go up with the sign but did not want to get in the way anymore. He fianlly left (thanks goodness)
Then Josh and Dave show up!:eyes: :eyes: And Markus droped Arcida! :eyes: It was Great!
Markus ened around 4:20ish and the club would not let him play more when he wanted to :( and I got him to sign my stuff and I talked to him for a bit and then got a pict :) and talked to him some more. Outside the club it was time to see where afterhours was at. I am sorry guys I tried but it is hard to get any info on afterhours when you where the only girl in a group of 9 ;) So back to the hotel we went and crashed. :)
I had such a Great time this weekend!! Thank you all for comming down and makeing it possible!!! :) *HUG*

Markus was awesome- I got a bit hammered and dont remember the last hour or so- Luckily the SD set was GDJB for last night so I can download it. :) |

Ha! Don't worry Michelle, Markus didnt have an afterhours either. I talked to him online while the GDJB was on, he was still at LAX waiting for his plane, and he said that they just chilled listening to new tunes. They was G&D, Markus, Interstate, and he mentioned someone else. Damn, it was an awesome night... Mad props to Michelle for organizing everything!!!

I recorded it from the show last night.. What you guys aired was the 2nd and 3rd hour. You guys didnt air the first hour. ;)

| oh man, where's the pic of me in my finest hour? i was holdin up his bag of gear, it was key!!! i think its on sweetcandy girls camera tho. and markus did an awesome job with that eric prydz song...the vocals snuck up on me and i freaked out! the only thing i thought was weird was how the club was set up...it looked like markus was playing in a garage, a garage with a dancefloor and a bar...and half naked drunk chicks making out. kinda like my garage |
