What a night! :mad:
I went to see Picotto a few months back at air and the atmosphere was amazing! This time round however the club was full of attitude and pricks. I had one girl come up pretending to know me so she could have the glow-thingy round my neck, then couldn't even be bothered to spare me a fag, later on I asked someone if I could sniff some of his poppers and he looks at me gone out like I just mugged him at gunpoint for some crack. Another guy I asked just looks really bothered by my asking while his friend behind me just sneers.
Picotto's set was pretty random and and he couldn't even be arsed to play one last tune until five mins after the set had finished, mind you I don't blame him as the club just looked dead all the way through. Whatever happened to PLUR? |

godskitchen is pretty these days, and the crowd has just got worse in the past year or two. no disrespect to the nice people who go there, but theyre few and far between.
i think morillo and a housey nye pretty much sums up how gash it has gotten for me. kerching. |

I agree picottos set was no were near as good as the last time he was at gods, i was fair dissapointed with him :confused:
Chris Turner was quality tho, played better that picotto IMO, not really into his sort of music but he played a blinder :)
And yeh I thought the atmosphere was poor las week, no were near as good as when coxy was on and it was packed to the rafters!!
Still going for Marco n J00F on the 10th Dec tho :D |

Just full of attitude and generally very unfriendly. For some reason you always seem to get 30-something muscle men in clubs these days thinking that they are really "with it" whilst looking down their nose at everyone else, really pisses me off, not to mention ing bad boy estate kids who go just becuase they think listening to hard dance while downing 15 pints of stella makes them look well 'ard!
I agree with Ste that the line up at gods does look like something I could have scraped of my shoe. Passion looks wicked for nye though, I went to Passion for the first time a couple of weeks before Gods and the atmosphere and people made the night phenomenal! a complete contrast so I'll be making plenty of trips there in the future (not to mention they don't do a drugs search ;)) |
