| i get these random friend requests from people who dont know me or anyone i know. do you add these random people to your friend lists when they send a request to you? i feel like it kind of defeats the purpose. |

exactly, or so they can market their cd or something like that. some seem to be actually honestly looking to meet people but i dont see how being on my friends list on myspace gets them any closer to actually knowing me. |

most of the people who have contacted me are about my age so i dont think that generalization is necessarily true. |

If i never met the person i don't add them. Technically i met you down at the Meterodorm in SF for the Loveparade so i can add you! :D |

I get those too from ppl trying to promote themselves and whatnot. I only let people on that I talk to every once in a while, so my friends list is looking pretty bare right now :(
