Hey! I just updated this remix that I had uploaded like a week ago. It's a remix of a track called "Take Me" by People in a Box. Check it out. I really like it, I wanna know what you think. Look out for the vinyl which is coming out soon. Peace!

Thanks for the input. I agree that the intro is fairly basic, but I more or less did it so that it would be really easy to mix in kinda subtle while coming in. Perhaps I made it too subtle...but I'm gonna do a radio edit soon here for those who are not gonna be mixing it. Get things straight to the point! Welp...thanks for giving it a listen, its kinda hard to get people to reply here it seems to me. You the man!! Peace!

hi mate, just listening at the moment.
I wouldn't say the intro was as basic as I anticipated after reading the previous review, it would work well for mixing purposes, as you said, maybe a few effects would keep it interesting.
I like the snippets of vocals coming in, i wasn't expecting that sort of hoover melody alongside it, but it works when the breakdown comes in.
There is a real psy trance feel to this, kind of like astral projection.
On a personal note, I think this would work if you done a big room trance mix of this, with a ferry corsten melody, although in fairness, i love my big melodic trance.
Anyway, I digress :) i like the snare rolls coming in and the 303 line, although it feels as if there is some energy lacking when the drums come back in, try adding some crash cymbals and turning the level of the drums up a little. |
