Hey I am going up to NYC for the first time. If anyone has time or cares to share. WHAT THE HELL SHOULD I DO? I am 20 so if there are any 18 & over events let me know besides that any suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!

This is what I'd recommend
DON'T TAKE TAXI's (unless you are rich)
All Bars/Clubs/Lounges are mainly 21+ (they scan IDs as well)
Watch out for NYTAs who want to show you around (especially AMDMAXX he'll throw you in his trunk)

On a more serious note - check out Times SQ mad lights
Check out the village for shopping (8th and Broadway -- from there down)

if you can get yourself a scannable fake, then head over to crobar for sasha dec 03.
if not, there is bad boy bill at avalon dec 04...but unless you really really really like bad boy bill, stay away from avalon |

Have one scannable yes it is an altered license cosmetically
when they scan does it show only if the ID is real or if does it tell your real age |

| i think the scanner can pick up both -- ie. if the license was chalked. but i could be wrong. |

The entire idea behind scanning your ID is so that they don't have to figure out whether or not it has been chalked. When they scan the back of the ID it reads on the computer display that they have whether or not you are actually 21 or not.
Basically you need a real ID that is from somoeone that looks like you and is over 21 or a 21 over ID that you put your picture on it. Although this kind of work is very expensive.
But I wouldn't know anything about this anyway.:rolleyes:
