Review of Tiesto in Dallas,Texas

Last week, after reading everyone's reviews on Tiesto in Canada I decided to buy tickets. His show was not the same as the one in Canada. No pulsar-cloudwalking, no cj bolland-the prophet, no riva mix of rapture. He did end with silence though. Only played for 2:15. You people in Canada got lucky to hear him play for such a long time.
Oh Yea, he did play Dallas 4 p.m @ about 1:04. |

If it makes you feel any better, he didn't play the Riva Mix of Rapture, it was the Deep Dish Mix. |

Personally I think the deep dish mix is better then the Riva Mix...still the song is awesome :) Too bad Tiesto only played 2 hours though, a three hour set should be a minimum requirement. |

He spun a lot of old stuff I don't care about...
why is he spinning that deep dish remix of rapture when he can spin the riva remix? ferry spins the riva remix, he know what he's doing!
and ppk-resurection? what the @#$ is he thinking? |

| Thanks for the input. I don not remember ratty-sunrise but maybe it was a different mix from the ones I know. Red Jacket sucks. A 3 hour requirement would have been nice. The best place to hear someone in Dallas that is actually a club is Area 51. Someone get a big DJ in this place, and not David padilla or Dj Dean. |

r u kiddin':eyes: ??????? only 2 hrs and 15 mins!!!!!!!!u should b thankin your lucky stars u got to see him at all. tiesto doesn't come around all that often my friend, and w/ the demand today u won't see too many big name djs spinnin for much longer than 2 hrs. maybe a 2 or 3 encores but those 8 hr twilo phantasy sets r a thing of the past. no offense but i can't believe he played in Dallas and skipped over Boston:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :( |

It sounds like a lot of ya'll had just an "OK" time at Tiesto. He was in Austin the Wednesday before Dallas's date and spun for about 2 and 1/2 hours. It was AMAZING! Yeah...I was dissapointed he didn't play CJ Bollant - The Prophet, but nonetheless it was a GREAT set. The playlists are quite similar. Here's what I heard at Element (the club he played at in Austin):

TWILO was the greatest club in the states and probably the best CLUB in North America !!! Which other club had PVD, Sasha and Digweed, Carl Cox, Timo Maas etc... spinning 7 hour sets.
I remember PVD dropped a 8 hour set for his Twilo aniversary !!! That was the !!! And then Sasha and Diggers spinning a epic 10 hour set togather for thier aniversary bash....man I wish those days were still here. |

| Space did and still does...PVD was there last week spun for over 4 hours, Tiesto was there last night spun over 5 hours. Van Dy and Cox have had more than 2 sets there that were over 6 hours..Tenaglia spun an 18 hour set there. I used to go to twilo all the time before it closed and I am sorry to say that Space is a much better venue, space wise, and system wise. Coming up next week John fleming, and PVd is coming back there again in December. |

did you hear the Trance Energy sets allready.....?? It was played by 3 diferent DJ's on that party......and it is a nice tune |
