Here is the 2nd song ive done. Have a listen & tell us what you think
PROBOSCUS
Here are a few questions;
-Is this professional or amature?
-Does the song kickass or suck ass??
-rating out of 10 (negatives allowed!)?
-What wrong/good about the song?

Wild intro. I'm digging it.
Woah, the bass came in and completely changed the mood of the song. Crazy, yo.
The bass and the kick don't seem to jel some of the time. I'd look into that.
So far, it's pretty simple stuff. Pros tend to get somewhat more complex. This is more along the lines of ambient trance/house.
Overall, I'd give it about a five, partly because of the slight disconnect between the bass and the kick, but mostly because it's about a fifth as long as the average ambient trance/house song should be. Make it longer. ;) |

-Fix bass & kick timing.
-too simple. --> add some complexity
-Way to short. Extend length.

lol i like the questions u got therre :D
let me answer them honestly, but dont take this the wrong way, i can tell ur very amateurish, the track is very very newb ish :D
volumes are too low, track is too empty, sounds wierd... all i can suggest for u now, is to keep producing, in a bout 2 months or so, (if u dont give up) u will be muuuch better :) trust me ;)
dont be mad at me :( im just tryin to help u out...

LOL only with a blunt microphone (cant be bothered walking all the way to the kitchen for the knife! :toothless :p ). I cant kid myself if the music is crap! If people dont like it, I gotta know: that's how i think anyways. Thanks again Sunquest, much appreciated :p :p
This has to be teh best place ever to get constructive critizsim/feedback for trance. :toothless :toothless there aint no other place on the net like this! |

yeah, pump up the volume...cant hear anything :)
this one sound (guitar?) is playing to loud for the mix...
you need some more percs and synth and fx to make the track more interesting...make a "journey" out of it... ;) you know what i mean?
i also think some sounds are off...
anyway, it has some good ideas in it...would be cool if you can upload a sample with better volume, so a feedback can be done in a better way... ;) |
