Hi Everyone
I just wondered if anyone could recommend a decent (and if possible cheap) DVD writer for my PC?
Cheers

| How much you lookin to spend? Personally I enjoy my LG. It's multi-layer (so when dvd9 discs are available you can burn them), burns 8x, burns every kind of media... costs about $70 on www.newegg.com . |

I was looking about getting a DVD burner too,
was lookin at the LG GSA4160 16x DVD±RW.
There getting very attractive ever since they droped below 100 bucks.
Side note what kind of DVD's are used by movies and are these the same as the ones these types of burners can handle |

the best dvd burners ever are PIONEERS , don't let anyone fool you
i own a samsung 8x +/- and it's good , but i always burn in 4x since the media available is only 4x compatible ... but it's all good it's really worth it !! |

The most compatible format is DVD-R which most new dvd players will read just fine. Almost all dvd burners will burn this format. |
