Does Best Buy keep their promises?

What's your experience?
I'm asking because I pre-ordered a CE of WoW, but it wasn't even computerized. One of the employees just wrote my name and number down on this notepad list (consisting of me and some other guy), and said he'd call me when they get them in.
Kind of weird.
I've heard people on these forums complain about Best Buy before, so I was just wondering, anyone have any opinion on them or the situation I described above? |

ahh i see....
did they give you like a pre-order ticket or something? As long as you have SOME form of paper, it should be alright. But if you got nothing, and some guy just wrote your name down on a blank sheet of paper, i'd go back :haha:
I just ordered seinfelds DVD seaons 1-3, which comes out nov. 23..... and its always good to have SOME paperwork, or a receipt of some sort.... |

I bought the preorder box, but it's a preorder for the regular version. The guy said for me to just get that, and he'd call me when the CE comes in, and I could claim the CE using the regular version preorder receipt.
He didn't really indicate that they officially have any preorders for the CE. |

its always good to remember that the guy you're relying on, gets paid about $7.00 an hour, and probably gives two flying s on whether you get your game or not.....

| They probably will call you IF their Media Department is on the ball about it. I work there, as well. |

I figure I'll just call them up the day before, and the day of, etc.
Just seems too fishy for my liking. |
