What's the deal with white rims?

Whenever i see people with expensive / suped up white cars, they're always using black / gunmetal / silver / chrome rims and i barely ever see white ones. Yet white rims would look a LOT better on these cars. So what's the problem? Does white paint get chipped off easily or something?

White wheels look like , generally, unless their some nice Volk TE37s. Other than that, blech.

The lugnuts on my car require more torque than that Honda makes, E2EK1EL :haha:
I have nothing against the CTR or any Honda for that matter, in fact, I love them. I just love the little quirks they have. |

I'd go with white wheels, just to be different...since no one seems to like them anymore. |

What's the deal with white cars? I always found white to be such a boring color on a car :thepirate
But white rims...sounds pretty normal...I hardly ever see anything other than while and silver |
