Can someone recommend me a good mixer to begin my career as a DJ?

I want to start my DJ career and I'm going to buy equipment next week. I already decided to buy the Pioneer CDJ-100 but I'm not sure about the mixer yet.
I'm not looking for a mixer that will be good to start with and then I'll have to buy a better one after a few weeks or months. I want to buy a mixer that is advanced but not too hard to start with. Something that will be good and will satisfied me even when I'll get really good at DJing.
Big thanks in advance :) |

lol I already have that kitchen mixer:stongue:
Anyway, my budget is about 300$. I might be able to spend 500$ but I'm not sure yet.
Will those mixers you recommened will satisfied me for a while or will I have to get a better mixer after I get good at it? |

| have a look at the vestax pcv275. it rocks!! highly versatile to many styles of music and its cheap at the moment. you won't feel the need to replace it when you get good, its a proffesional mixer. the only reason i can see you wanting to replace it is to get an effect mixer or maybe a 4 channel mixer or something.. but you can always buy seperate FX units anyway. |

for starting out you need 2 faders and a headphone socket and not much else.
Get something dirt cheap from ebay thats cheap and cheerful- could cost you literally a couple of bucks |

$500 just may get you a used allen&heath xone32. that'd be your best bet, IMHO, at that price range. new they are about 650.
the DJM300 and vestax 275 are both very good suggestions, however... I wouldnt buy either of those mixers used, thou. not nearly as durable as the a&h mixers. |
