I will tell you NOW that that is utter bull.

If you like being ripped off hammer tooth and nail and run by the most corrupt government of inbred farmers in the world, then by all means come here to Ireland to live, but if not, go to a decent country that actually has more than a one track dirt road connecting its two biggest cities.

True, but one city does not speak for the entire country.

well, obviously. but Toronto + Vancouver = where is it?

ShadowWolf, no; 1994 i believe. Vancouver even more recently, i think.

Totally agree, i live in Dublin and to be honest, this place is the most expensive country i've ever lived in. On top of it all, it rains during spring, summer, fall, and winter.
There are no highways (unless you count the M50 which in my opinion isn't a highway at all), the drinks and food are well overpriced, the clubs close at 3 AM, and you can no longer smoke anywhere.
Unless you think going out to the pub every night, paying out your ass for rent, food, phone bills, etc, then please, try somewhere else because whatever you're looking for, you probably won't find it here.

Well to be honest, and this is going by my irish friends' points of view, the chicks are not that great. Apparently all the hot ones immigrated or something.
Personally, i think it depends where you go and what you like. If you like 17 year old girls, chubby (if not just fat), with 3 kids i suggest you go to north side Dublin. Otherwise you have the snobby little bitches who are extremely high maintenance and think their don't stink in south side Dublin.
In between the two... i just don't know. I'm not a guy but i can honestly say i don't find Irish girls all that attractive.
