They are different in terms of style and appearance but simular because they are both top dj's who are great mixers and good at getting the crowd going and involved. |

Agreed and that's why I like him so much:D Yoji is like a giant orgy of musical styles and DJ's combined:whip: Yoji has kept the vote pretty close and respectable against the most well known DJ in the world in Tiesto.
I do love the way that both mix and combine the ending of one song and the beginning of the next to combine the two for long enough periods of time so that it seems like a whole new song:eek: :D The mixing masters are Tiesto and Yoji:happy2: |

I like Yoji ... but not nearly as much as Tiesto. Some of Yoji's stuff is just ing awesome though, but personally I like Tiesto's stuff better.
In the end I suppose its just a matter of opinion, everyone likes a certain DJ's style better than another's, different styles and tastes in music, etc.
... I like Yoji's look ... I mean I'd never do anything even remotely resembling it, but its kind of amusing to see a different physical style ... an Asian with dreadlocks, who wears unusual masks, etc. (just look at maxpain's avatar and sig :) )
btw: does anyone know the name of the track that plays on Yoji's website? (the first page of the site ... like if you were to click the link in my sig) |

Trance <> Hardtrance
But.. I voted Yoji, not cause I hate Tiësto, I still like him if you just think about the good things he has done. He kind of introduced trance to a broad public. Now you CAN discuss this, of course, but one of the reasons I got into trance and one of the reasons I'm now listening Ferry/Armin/Schulz/Blank&Jones/Above&Beyond was actually Gouryella/Kamaya Painters ; Lethal Industry/Flight 643 so =)
I just like the energy in Yoji's sets, especially cause I actually hate hardtrance and somehow I can find a way to enjoy myself listening to Yoji =)
