some riddles: whoever gets them right is cool
1. Your walking to Truth town, you come to a Y in the road, and you don't know which way to go. One way leads to Truth town (where everyone always tells the truth), and other way leads to Liersvill (where everyone always lies). There's a man standing in the middle of the road, but you can't tell which town he's from and can only ask him one question. How do you find the way to Truth town?
2. lets say there are 3 guys, each with $10. they want a room that is 30 dollars, so each of them gives $10 dollars. Later on, the front desks realizes that the room is only supposed to be $25, so he gives the bellhop the $5 dollars to go return to the men. since he can't split the $5 between the 3 guys, he just gives each of them $1, and keeps $2 for himself. Therefore meaning that each guy paid $9. now, if each guy only paid $9 (the $10 they paid originally minus the $1 they got back each), that means that was $27 total, then there is the $2 that the bellhop kept, adding up to $29. But there were originally $30. where did that extra dollar go? |
