The thing is that the statement made is a fishing statement. It means she wants you, but she isn't sure if you want her. She doesn't want to "dritte seg ut" or make an ass out of herself. So she subtley hints to you and waits for you to make a move. There is the small chance that she isn't interested, but it's not likely. As aforementioned, 9 of 10 of these want to get the dick. Just ask her if she wants you to help her with that problem.
If you just wanna get laid and don't want complications later, make sure you make that clear. I intend on telling this girl tonight that I don't want a relationship, but if she wants to get it on, we will. Even if she wants a relationship, she'll do it hoping to change my mind, but I've already set the expectation and, thus, can't be blamed for anything later. Don't be an ass and mislead her and everything should be fine. If you are interested in her for a longer term, hook up and let things happen naturally. Don't freak her out by telling her you want her as a girlfriend.

Ever notice how there are never guy question threads posted by girls? :p
And don't bull yourself, she *might* want you but most likely she just wanted to say that to get it out cause she's frustrated. Look for other signs before assuming. I've told those kinds of things to many guys who I wouldn't have touched with a 10 foot pole. Hope she wants you though! :p |

Spyder had one about picking up guys, but face it. Women have a lot more control in this situation. Even ugly women can get laid easier than most men can. I guess it's true that she could have just said it. I wasn't there to observe her body language or catch the signs. In my situation, I know the girl said it intentionally, but they are different situations. Be careful since she's your roommate. Could make things very complicated.
And Xani - I am pretty good at getting out of the drama situation. As long as she doesn't freak out, I should be fine. A girlfriend of mine that used to work with her gave me the go ahead to do it though. |
