Bush beating War drums for Iran

Let the world domination continue.
Apparently the Bush administration is now trying to make a case for Iranian nuclear arms production. This scares the crap out of me. Not Iran, but Bush. Iran is a REAL foe as opposed to the weak Iraqi army. If Bush really wants another Vietnam then he will invade Iran.

I can only imagine the guerilla resistance that would occur once the war with Iran ended, if it happend. However remember right after the Iraq war Bush was beating the war drums for Syria and nothing happend? Also it's not like Iran doesn't have allies. It's not like Iraq where there was a clear despotic leader of a country that virtually had no real allies.
What irks me is that North Korea ADMITS to having WMDs and yet they do nothing about it, giving them oil and food supplies to keep them quiet. While all these middle eastern countries are cast as the worlds evils. |

You would be surprised that the population actually wishes the Americans to come and invade them, as wierd as that sounds. They want to rid those fuker mullahs and burn them

Yea...this won't happen...
The fact of the matter is that the US military is pretty much stretched to it's limit right now....extending tours for people that are scheduled to retire, bringing in the National Guard...
We (yes, I am a American) don't have the military to keep fighting the campaigns we have now, let alone start another one...
The only way this would happen is if Bush instituted a Draft...
And the social repurcussions of that would be immense...riots, anarchy....with the political and social unrest that already exists here, something like that would make the 60's look like a friggin church picnic... |

thats the whole point...When it comes to the War on terror it's either you are with them or against them....Meaning if u don't support them, chances are you will face Sanctions or some BS US embargo causing starvation and death in your country or better yet if ur a rouge state because they think so....then congrats because you have suceeded in making it to the 'Next to Bomb' list....I highly doubt anybody will come to Irans help or any country for that matter once the Pre war propaganda starts cause nobody wants to get in trouble :nervous: |

doubtful, Iran has very good relations with France, UK, Germany, Russia, China, Japan to name a few. Ofcourse I doubt any of them would come rush to Iran's aid of the U.S all of a sudden decided to wage a war. I'm sure they'd grumble and compain and so on, but would they do something about it? It all depends on what's in it for them.
If your the President/Chancellor or Prime Minister of a country wouldnt you be concerned if the U.S has invaded another country? I'd be concerned simply from a soverignty/empire point of view. If the U.S can attack any country it wants with no reprecussions whose to say whose next? |
