is it something that can be fixed with a gym membership and makeup? i think most people can be made beautiful with the right resources. |

I think she's probably feeling the same as I am...I hope. 'course she is. wouldnt want to mess up a good friendship or anything. |

ing go to the mall with her and walk past the makeup counters. A woman can't walk through there without someone stopping her and wanting to make her up. When they finish, tell her how ing hot she is and she should do her makeup like that all the time.

Well, there's obviously some sort of expected tact out of this sort of thing, but let me postulate that honesty is the best policy. Now, there is a difference between being 'open' and being 'honest' - this is what so many people misunderstand; it leads them to lie and cheat others because they once let too much information slip at a moment of open-ness which they mistook for 'honesty'.
Essentially, don't lie to her and say you didn't regret it if, in fact, you did regret it. If you're both responsible adults (err, well, college-level, that is) then you can probably empathize with one another and overcome psychological barriers that might eventually lead to the downfall of your friendship anyways. I know some people can be strange at times, especially people who get emotionally-charged from hormones associated with said sexual contact, but the truth must be known if it is so desired. If nobody desires the truth, then you live in a state of denial - what most would just call 'friends with benefits' anyways. Not that being 'friends with benefits' is a 24-hour call service or anything, but what's done is done and all you can do is face it today.
If she's even worth being your friend, she'll understand the situation just as much as you do, notwithstanding obvious differentiations (men vs women - blech) between identifiable gender schemas. But maybe this is just the logical male speaking in me, something most women could never understand.
It's just sex - what's the big ing deal? :conf:

| i guess you can act normal like nothing happened, just pretend you dont remember, and if your friend brings it up, say you dont remember. or just never see your friend again, that can work |

you say you guys have a great friendship, so i would imagine you guys feel comfortable discussing things with each other. just talk to her about it and make sure things can be cool between you guys. don't say you regret it, but don't lie either. if you tell her you're not looking for anything, and then she sees you with another girl, she'll probably get pissed and start to dislike you as a friend. if anything, just say you don't want to ruin the friendship, so "let's just be friends".
i've hooked up with my guy friends and never had a problem staying friends afterwards. the only time it really gets tricky is when someone starts wanting something more than friendship. then you really have to evaluate if it's possible to remain friends at that point. |
