Please put any suggestions that you may have for users of PDD here. Thanks. Here is mine:
When someone starts a thread about an article, can you please quote the article, either entirely if its brief, or a summary or a small excerpt if its really long. Please don't just put a link because this may be a problem for some users with slow connections and the link may be dead, which will dampen the discussion. Thank you.

I'd like to add another suggestion:
People should apologize after flaming me.
And Occrider needs to conceed defeat .. like that other day when he got pwned by Durg Tito :p |

Conceding defeat and apologizing are good ideas, very gentlement-like. After all I think the discussions are best when they are about ideas and reasoning, not about personalities. People die off, but ideas and ideologies are enduring.
Another suggestion is that when people quote an article, please put the link too. I don't anyone will purposely misquote an article but something may be lost during the cutting and pasting. For intstance, I have cheap keyboard and every 20th letter comes up as a number or blank space.:mad: |
