hehe.. so it kinda went like that... but it was cool that vic dinaire came back to Scott's for the afterparty and he really played some great back at Scott's house,.. the absinthe kicked everybody's ass as we all started dropping like flies after that,..oh yeah,.. glad to bring Neil aboard to the forums/Atlanta scene,... yes sir,. poser no more...:)

as far as the AtlTA party... started out totally focused on teh Gator game and was pretty much oblivious to all those around me,... and when they won i was almost emotional b/c i was so happy,... Neil also brought he fire ball thingies and amazed us all by putting on a couple fire shows for us in Bobby's driveway,.. in all a top notch time and loved it... and a special thanks again to hope and jeff for picking me up and giving me a ride and to jordan and bobby for being such awesome hosts and allowing us to put on that kind of gig at their home... thank you all again...

as far as Sunday night went... cruise into Orlando 1115ish... head over to HOB and catch Greg, Cyn, Phil, and Colleen at the door,.. little upset that all of those who had said they might show bailed, but anyway the show sucked but it was good hanging out with that crew and nice to see Ben show up and to see him again,...

couldnt make it home, mr. sleep monster attacked me... so i slept in the car at a truckstop until 8am today when the sun said WAKE THE up you MOFO... i gurggled at it and threw on my sunglasses and went to sleep.. then the heat kicked my ass so i drove home... now i must sleep for the next 2 days as i so it all over again in 48hrs for PvD in Miami....

i didnt forget you Nachos, Gavin, Scott, Leeann, Ken, Christine, Javi, and pleasure meeting Thomb and Jennie... bummer you all couldnt have come to the party on Sat... i know i forgot more people and im sorry but im tired of typing.....

What a weekend!

Victor Dinaire played a good set. As I walked into the club he dropped Second Sun - The Spell.

Other tracks he played:
Tranquility Base - Surrender
Kuffdam & Plant - Summer Dream (Victor Dinaire Rework)

J00F came on and it's ID after ID. Only tracks I recognized was Jens - Loops and Reloops (Original Mix) I think. And...

BT - Flaming June!!!!

I've never heard J00F or anything play this live before. What a treat! The crowd was smaller than last time but I felt it are more intimate. Everyone who was there danced their asses off. I got to meet a bunch of great people and chatted with a few who I know of but never had a chance to talk to. Still recovering from the previous night of drinking, I definitely felt much better after dancing. J00F is a mega nice guy. He signed so many autographs and took countless pictures with everyone. Hope to see him back very soon!

Quote of the day by Corey von Waters: "Oh now the party can start since the TA's are here."

The party continued on at my place with Victor coming to chill and spin. Everyone got wasted and I had my first cop visit ever! The cop was so pissed off too.

Shoutouts to everybody: Brent, Mario, Gavin, Bobby, Jorda, Hope, Jeff, Tom, Genny, Javi, Steven, Anna, Bobby Sikri, LeeAnn, Ken, Christine, Neil, Jay D, Lily, Corey, Lauren, Chewy and of course Hagen!

TAs who couldn't go that were missed: Jack :whip:, Asai, Emil, Peach, Dan, Penny and Pete.

Some of the stuff he played is coming out on the next compilation on Soular Records..

I gave him the promo last week, and when I spoke with j00f on Friday he said he was playing some of the tracks. Especially the Wizzy Noise track.

Finally I got a chance to post…

What a freakin’ show.

Ive seen JooF probably 6 times including this past August in NYC @ Avalon and this set in ATL was by far the best of all of them

Where the hell does he get that ??

The ongoing joke between me and my friends Friday night was “Oh …. what the is next!”

He rarely gave me chance to light a cigarette. The only ‘break’ came at 2:43! (I looked at my watch).

Thanks for bringing him in.… I’ve been trying to get to as many of the shows at “The Mark” as I can because it is so ‘not 1150.’ Heh heh heh.

What can I say? Most of us were there by about 11:30 and were nicely warmed up by Mr. Victor Dinaire. Although there was a small crowd the atmosphere was a good un' and everyone was in the mood.

Fleming came on and absolutely tore the roof off the place - I didn't know any of the tracks but when it is that good I really don't care.

It was good to meet everyone new - Brent, Hope & Jeff, Neil - Hope you enjoyed your night and are ready for a punishing weekend in Atlanta!!

Awesome night - John is a top bloke and more than happy to talk with everyone.

Im glad this guy has a quarterly residency as I cant wait until the next time he is here!!

Thanks everyone

It definitley has an underground raw vibe to it that I love. It is our home for now...so I am glad you enjoy it as much as we do!

Cobraken
I agree i like the feel of it! Very underground feeling! Its nice for a change.

the decor of the venue is cool and the fact that it is under the street level makes it cool as well...
