It's a shame this track was discontinued. :( Hopefully not for ever though, as the piano melody played in the break, coupled with the padding is possibly one of my all-time favourite atmospheres. I just wish this part was longer though...perhaps a downtempo remix might suit it nicely too.
Anyway, I stumbled across this topic and just wanted to say it's an amazing track and that I still listen to the preview from time to time as I'm browsing through my "Masters" folder, eager to start mastering it. :D |

Heh, well I used to visit to download the MP3s a couple of years ago, but I don't download MP3s anymore cos of the quality. But I thought I'd pop in on the forums and see if I could pick up any new mixing/mastering knowledge, or perhaps help some others out too. :)
A bit stupid really, cos I've got enough mastering work to last me another two months. :tongue3 |

conclusion
when the first synths are introduced, it sounds alot like Airwave.. I think the percussion sounds a little weak.. a little more drive to the rhythm is needed imo, a little more power and reverb on the piano in the break, synths sounds nice in the break, although i excpected some huge strings in excactly 3:42.. track lacks power after the breakdown as well, huger synths would do good |
