Total Recorder. Bass too heavy.

| When i record with total recorder it always turns out way too distorted, but this seems to happen on all recorders i used. does n e one have n e clues on how to take the distortion away? Cheers for n e help.:) |

| distortion is too much signal or not enough signal...just trial and error till u get a good sound....check settings too... |

| Turn recording volume down. It's weird but on my soundscard I have to turn the volume all the way down and it comes out perfect. |

| thnx for the feedback guys but neither work. no matter wat level it's at (besides 0%) it always seems like the bass is too loud, is there n e other suggestions? |

| i don't think so no. i had a look in total recorder to see if i do but it doesn't show, where would i go to check if i got bass settings on my PC? |

| control panel>sounds and audio devices. Goto the Audio tab and click Volume and then Advanced. |

| i tried that but it didn't work, i record through stereo mix and it had no advance button, cheers for the help mate. |
