If I go, it will only be for SENECA. I have no interest at all in seeing ATB.

I'm not a big fan of ATB's production style, but "DJ in the Mix" and some of the tracklists I've seen of his recently aren't too bad, much less cheese. I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens, though I'm going to see him in California, just before the Chicago show. In any case, good luck to Seneca at the Chicago show.

1 am is a damn early night. I'm normally don't get to Vision until then. But that's fine by me!

was working this night, so got to hear some of seneca's set and he did a fabulous job! liked his set much better than atb - who i discovered is really popular in europe - most of the crowd was from europe - most of the tracks by atb were about 1-2 years old - but, the crowd seemed to love him :wtf: - kyle szmurlo closed out the night and he was playing some good stuff, but decided to leave early

seneca - did you record your set?

ATB in San Francisco the night before Chicago was OK, but I didn't get into it that much and the sound at 1015 Folsom out there is horrible compared to Vision. A number of Gabriel & Dresden productions/remixes that the locals went crazy for and they liked the mainstay ATB songs, but not as good of a set as I was hoping for, though I knew that it would be questionable. At least on the bright side he started to drink too much and realized it, so it didn't turn into a massive amount of trainwrecks and some guy who worked at the place had a parrot that wound up sitting on ATB's arm while he spun for awhile. Not sure if the Chicago was the same, but it seemed like ATB just tried to play hit after hit and keep the crowd going with a microphone during build-ups and just wanted everyone to be entertained for a couple hours. Most everyone seemed to enjoy it, but I regret not seeing Christopher Lawrence the following night, though I had no money left. If you buy vinyl & ever go out to the Bay Area, be prepared to spend your life savings at Skills DJ Workshop in Berkeley, because they have everything!

unfortunately no...

friend was supposed to bring his laptop to record and didn't make it.

how much of it did you catch? About 11:30 I started cracking it open on the dancefloor :)
