Starting my own Business::Suggestions?
View this Thread in Original format

im starting my own business in my school, cooking food. finally the cafeteria has some competition. i experimented last friday with 9 empanadas i made and they all got sold in less than 2 minutes, so next week, im going to make 20 every day, and see how that goes.

also, i thinking about making hot dogs wrapped in fried dough with cheese inside, and making croussant sandwitches. all between 1 dollar and 2. cheaper and better than the cafeteria sells it.

if i work at maximum production, i can make 100 dollars in a week. with a profit of 50%.

anybody got any suggestions of anything?:D

quesadillas are cheap to make and easy too. I know a lot of people that love those. Also, breakfast tacos are the . You could probably make quite a bit of money if you dished out delicious breakfast tacos and sold them before everyone's 8am.

hmmmm...hire a staff to help you make them? :conf:

Am I the only one that would think twice about buying food from some random dude selling it out of his backpack or whatever?

I mean maybe if you were selling "brownies", but I'm not gonna buy a taco from some guy just walking around selling it.

actually, the school cafeteria sold them for me, gave me my dish and all the money that was made back to me. so, the school has no problem with it.

in a school of only 90 high school students, if i had done anything to the food, i would have been fingered immediatly. i wouldnt do it in the first place.

I can't believe the school sold them for you. if the food was bad in any way they would have got the sued out of them.

But since they are ing stupid I say go for it and make as much as you can.

Dude, when you're hungry you do things that you might normally consider crazy.

When I used to work for this engineering company, a guy came by EVERY MORNING and sold breakfast tacos out of his van. He'd pull up, honk the horn, and the receptionist would announce over the intercom "breakfast is here".

haha
