so... how did it go?
i myself would not be too worried about "first gigs" like this. i don't really think of it as a gig unless it's people who could really evaluate what i'm doing. not to say that you still won't be nervous, i know i was, but still, after a couple mixes (which hopefully weren't complete trainwrecks) all is good... |

well....i was cool....first we had a problem with the mixer and the decks and we had to get them from the pub downstairs (same owner, we didnt steal anything:p)
and then all the chans on the djm600 (except chan 1) were bleeding everywhere....i couldnt mix with the eqs coz the slightest bass increase (and it was just a click abocve off) was destroying the music...i played for 90 mins out of 4 hours in total...well they prefer cheese pop/rnb music..cant blame them...nobody is perfect...i had a great time...next time i am gonna bring my mixer :P |
