Review: Tedd Patterson @ Boa-Redux

This was just one of those nights you didnt know what to expect. Got there around 2:30 with Nevio warming things up nicely. Played some massive tracks in the last half hour that really set the tone nicely for Tedd to start things proper. Probebly the best set ive heard from Nev to date - great job man.
I knew Patterson was a great producer, but the things he did behind the decks completely blew me away. He started out fairly slow in tempo, which at first caused a lot of standing around - but at the very moment of his first mix, that completely changed.
DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY.
Dirty, grimey, funked up tunes all night long from this guy - with his mixing and programing absolutely bang on. The only track i recognized from him was "Chiapet" - Westworld (Skylark RMX), and although ive heard it a million times - it never fails to deliver on the dancefloor. I was just dancin up a storm, and in the corner of my eye i see this girl - who was quite possibly whoring it up more than i was. I should've known it was Jenny (jennypie). For the next hour straight we took over the front half of the dancefloor and fu*ked the dancefloor like only we know how to. Jenny - i salute you, for being the funkiest, dirtiest dancin partner on the planet. Im really interested to hear what you thought of this set, but based on your reaction to every track he dropped - im sure it will be amazing. Happy B-Day, and welcome to the 24 club!
Ended up staying til about 6:30 or so, im pissed i didnt get to hear the rest of his superb set. Hopefully, we either bring this guy back soon, or bring him on for a residency of his own. Tedd Patterson is a name we'll all be hearing of in the future, and his sound fits Boa absolutely perfectly (in a dirty ass way).

| The night started at 11, i went to ARC to see roger sanchez, i was so excited anyways got there at 12 but booooooooo ARC is not a place for afterhours there system isnt that good plus it was small i dont know i didnt like that palce at all and probably wont go back so i ended calling jeff at around 1 telling him to get us on guestlist plus boa is now my second house he he. anyways i arrived there me Dany and Nabih at around 2 got in nevio was playing and omg what a dj he is, was playing some bad ass tracks i was enjoying him alot...at around 4 tedd showed up and ripped the place apart, havent seen him or heard of him before but wow what a Dj, while i was dancing i see a good lookn girl dancing with jeff i noticed this girl from ARC she was at ARC before she came to boa anyways asked wat her name was and she came out to be jenny (jennypie)and nice tatoo "Soul" by the way if u read this my name is ABDUl i hope u remmeber me he he... so the night ended at 8:30 for me i was dead by then....again thanks jeff for everything and c ya guys soon.... |

What happened at Boa? I am still clueless.
It was the first time I saw Nevio play and he was amaaazing. Tedd Patterson completely blew everyone away with the tracks he was playing.
What a wholesome night. I mean holy balls I went there not knowing what to expect from the night and woooow.
Aboud hahahaha you lost your voice and couldn't speak the next day. Thanks jeff for everything haha I know you were having a load of fun just like everyone in there. Didn't meet you yet jenny but I hope your birthday was reallllllly good. |

| Props to Carey for bringing in yet another virtually unknown talent. TP's set on Saturday gets my vote for surprise set of the year so far. |

Surprise is right! Totally blown away by Patterson!! I haven't heard a dirty set like that in a while. I remember trying to leave to go to the Zone several times, but he kept laying down SICK SICK beats that kept me on the dancefloor! It was perfect for floor******s like Jeff and I. Loved every second of it!!
