TOTA Spring Expeditions - Winter Music Conference 2005

is anyone going next Spring .. ? a lotta friends i made in EU this past summer were thinking about reaching and it's definately one festival i wanna get under my belt eventually. Early Bird Conference registration ($195 USD) ends this Wednesday ..
This is also the 20th Anniversary so it's gonna be big forsure ..
and the USD exchange is also getting very favourable .. :D

ps. if your going down there just to party then dont bother with the registration...waste of $$$...

i doubt booking time off would be too hard...conference takes place on easter weekend...everyone usually has good friday/easter sunday/monday off anyways... |

did u ever attend any of the conferences .. ? i noticed that the Ultra Festival passes were seperate ..

it says on here that admission to the ultra is complimentary if u get a wmc badge thingy...
ps. no i didnt go to any of the panels/seminars/workshops... |

hrmmz.. i wonder if it's worth it then considering the price of tickets to Ultra... maybe not .. :D

So there....this is my first time, but according to all the NYTA's that have been if can go.....GO!!!
I think the reg is a waste of time also...especially for a first time going. Just enjoy yourself. This is for everyone....a bunch of the NYTA's are going to be there as well, let us all know when you guys are coming and where you are going to stay we will throw down like its 1999. |

dont get the conference badge
Its sooo not worth it.
and dont stay anywehre near the Wyndam.
its north in SoBe, and there is NOTHING up there.
everything is down south.
last year was the first year that WMC and Ultra teamed up. Conference passes included admission to Ultra...which was $50 on its own when I went. Unless you plan on going to seminars adn sitting w/ industry people, adn not partying during the day, dont get the badge! |
