Might as well post what I posted on BayRaves here about this...
OK, looking at this from a fan-perspective, I think it is completely wrong and inappropriate to have Ferry Corsten at the top of the list, essentially marketing him as the main headliner for your NYE party, when he's not doing the most essential timeslot of the night, the midnight timeslot.
Those who only see the flyer and buy tickets based off of it are going to buy them thinking he is playing the midnight slot, and get there at like 9 or 10 O'clock just to see he is already on or finished.
That's like a huge bitchslap in the fan's face.
If you want to get a better image, do honest and proper marketing.
Respecting the fan is the biggest way to get respect back. I don't see any respect being shown here, sorry.
As for me, I'll be in LA on NYE :-p |

this is interesting .. even Corsten's website says "Set Time: Midnight Slop"
either way I'll be in Playa del Carmen and Cancun. I am moving to Long Beach though, never been there before, but hopefully I'll like it .. I wanted to catch Digweed in NYE in LA but Ferry's was also temting ..
I'll catch sasha, digweeed, warren, tenaglia (NYE) and PVD on Saturday overthere in the Mexican Caribean |

Well, that is interesting. I am rather sure Ferry had both SF dates in there at one time.
His gig list has been known to be wrong.
Anyhow, it's widely known that he is playing an early slot at PNY...I believe 7:30pm - 10:30pm is what has been said. And Ten15 has said he is doing the midnight slot.
I'll look into it to see what's official.

OK, I was told that Ferry is 100% sure doing the midnight count down. He'll be coming on at around 11:30pm then play for _FIVE HOURS_
I am lost....Ferry on NYE plus J00F on Jan 1 in SF...or Tiesto in LA fo NYE.
